Recipe of Shahi Tukra
- Deep fry bread slices till brown and keep aside
- Mix water, sugar, cardamom powder, fennel seeds powder and keep it on heat till sugar melts and cool it.
- Dip the fried bread slices in the syrup and arrange it in a dish
- Combine 1 or 2 bread slices with 1 cup of milk and churn in mixie, and mix with the remaining milk
- Keep the milk on heat and keep stiring continously and cook till thick
- Add sugar and cook till sugar melts, add kesar, cool it and add cardamom powder, rose essence
- Churn it and pour it on the bread slices
- Granish with chopped almonds and serve chilled.
